Fender PR 141 One Little HOT Amp!

 Fender PR 141
Here is a neat little known wonder of the Solid State Universe.  It's the Fender HOT Series PR 141.  It was Made in the USA in the early 90's and is quite loud for it's size.

The Clean channel seems to be the loudest.  Dirty channel not so much. Plenty loud enough for the bedroom practice area and loud enough to play with a band.

RIP Lemmy

Scott Gorham of Thin Lizzy "the original Dude"
Maybe not Motorhead or Thin Lizzy but a lower volume outfit.  Like a Jazz combo, Electronic, Indie Rock, or Country band. Plus the you can plug from the Pre Amp Out into a PA if needed.

The back says 75 watts but don't let it fool you. That must be what it draws from the wall.  It's 25 loud watts in reality.  In all this is a pretty cool, easy to use, little amp for the money ($75-$125 range).  Not quite a "Sleeper" but something to consider if you are on a budget and into no frills lightweight amps.

  • Clean Channel (Bright and Full buttons)
  • Dirty Channel (Crunch and Lead buttons)
